This day would go down as the biggest D-Day in history for more than 156,000 Allied troops invaded the beaches of Normandy. 4,000 Allied troops lost their lives that day and it is considered a turning point in WW2.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   The Americans joined the war in 1941 and by 1942 they and the British were considering a major Allied invasion across the English Channel. In November 1943 Hitler, who was aware of the threat of an invasion, put Erwin Rommel in charge of defense operations in the region. Hitler charged Rommel with finishing the Atlantic wall. These were men who dropped from planes with parachutes. They destroyed key targets behind enemy lines and and captured bridges in order for the main invasion force to storm the beaches. Thousands of dummies were also dropped to draw enemy fire. In the next stage of the battle thousands of Allied planes dropped bombs on German defenses. Soon the main invasion force of over 6,000 ships carrying troops, weapons, tanks, and equipment arrived.   American troops landed at Omaha and Utah beaches. The Utah beah was successful but at Omaha beach, the fighting was fierce. Many soldiers lost their lives at Omaha. Eventually though, the Allies were able to capture Omaha.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   By the end of D-Day over 150,000 troops had landed in Normandy they pushed their way inland over the next 7 days. By June 17th over 500,000 Allies had pushed their way inland and had pushed the Germans out of France. The Allied dorces then prepared to enter France where they would meet the Soviet soldiers moving in from the East. The victory in Normandy was a huge blow to the Nazis. It prevented Hitler from sending troops in France to build up his Eastern front against the Soviets. On May 8th, 1945 the Nazis surrendered to the Allies. Hitler comited suicide a week earlier on April 30th.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   This relates to Anne Frank because this day was a huge turning point for the Allies in World War 2. In the long run it ended the war and saved many Jews, including her father, but sadly not her. Anne died in March, just two months before the war ended. The Holocaust ended the lives of around 6 million Jewish people, thats about two thirds of the ammount of Jews prior to the Holocaust.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   There is also some interesting facts about D-Day. The troops needed the light of a full moon to see to attack. Because of this, there were only a few days of the month where the Allies could attack, This is why Eisenhower went ahead with the invasion despite the bad wheather. Another fact is that the allies wanted to attack during high tide so they could avoid the obstacles put in the water by the Germans. The third fact is that although June 6th is called D-Day, D-Day is also a generic military term where D stands for day of any major attack. A fourth fact is that the Allies called D-Day Operation Neptune. The fifth, and final fact is that D-Day was the single largest invasion by sea in history. Work Cited World War II. Third, the students are given 30 minutes, but by the time t’ go to and from the computer lab, which takes them 10 minutes, they only 20 minutes at most. My personal feelings are that our children can benefit from having their own computer lab at HOST or tablets that they can access anytime they are in the aftershock program. Most of the students at our aerogram are of Hispanic decent some of them struggle in reading, comprehension and writing. I can only imagine what can be done to help them in those areas if we had our own computers or tablets. Our student have a 30 minute block in which reading is being implemented already, if v had reading and writing software on tablets Or Computers Our students cal reap the benefits. What is it? Why is it important? In order for our program to continue to empower students to grow and develop in a safe, caring, an educationally enriched environment feel that the students need more reading time. The stakeholders will benefit because they will actually s the students progress. Non-negotiable elements of the program/practice There will be items in the change plan that is nonnegotiable in order to keep the integrity of the change. During our planning stages as a group we decided that reading and comprehension were nonnegotiable. These two items are non-negotiable since they are our focal point of interest. Without these two we would not have a need for the change plan. Scale and sustainability scores In order to define the scale and sustainability score of the change plan we ad to review the Scale and Sustainability scores located within the book â€Å"Leading Change Step-By-Step† by Jody Spiro. These results will let us know to what extent certain features have been merged into our program (Spiro, 201 1). Our results show that we have an all-inclusive plan, but not all stakeholders have bought into it yet. What this says about us is that we are good at working together and coming up with a plan. However, this does not mean that everyone agrees with it. There is still some resistance to the actual plan change. This of course is expected, since change is never easy, nonetheless a good way to get individuals on board is by communicating and educating them. Education Communication: One of the best ways to overcome resistance to change is to educate people about the change effort beforehand. Being upfront with education and communication lets everyone have knowledge about the changes. â€Å"People tend to see things that are happening now as more urgent than those that will happen in the future. † (Weber, 2006). Sometimes individuals are afraid of something they do not understand, however once they learn how this change is to come or will be made they are not as afraid. It is only then that they will start asking questions once they are informed. This however is not a guarantee that they will accept the change right away, but now they are more ready to listen to what one has to say. The development of scale and sustainability strategies for the change strategy Creating an environment where there is open communication and providing them an outlet to speak about their concerns will minimize a lot of the resistance. Providing the team with a consistent and clear message will minimize resistance. If change my views or do not sound confident in my change plans, the message will be inconsistent. On the other hand, if I am consistent and clear; offering a clear vision and specific goals to achieve, the team will be focused and know what is expected of them. I will also make sure the â€Å"messages are communicated through the participants’ ears† (Spiro, 201 1). Communication is a key element, for this element we scored a five. However, this needs to be on a continual basis in order for the group to be informed throughout the school year. Communication is not something that happens last minute; it is something that is practice throughout with co- workers. In conclusion ‘Veneered you introduce change, you are sure to encounter barriers† (Drexel Muskier, 2012). The best change leaders; will have a plan B for when things go wrong. Knowing your group, making sure you communicate with them and realizing you cannot make change happen alone will help your change effort become successful. Communication must be clear and consistent while your plan needs to have important feasible goals. Another area to be aware of is that the plan change is not written on stone and that there might be changes that will take place throughout the planning stages. What one might come up with at the end as a leader for hanger might be totally different than what one started with. How to cite Final Assignment, Papers

In addition to this, the performance of the events such as Christmas market, wedding event and academic conference is evaluated by taking feedbacks from the audiences, visitors and customers and meet their needs in an effective manner in future. Besides this, it can also be evaluated by taking a broad picture of the number of visitors, customers and audiences visit in the event. This can be measured by viewing the number of registrations made in the event (Bowdin, et al. 2012). The Christmas event is a successful event organized in Sydney. The event has received positive feedback from the visitors. Besides this, the academic conference has attracted a large number of education professionals who put questions associated with the topic of the conference in front of the speakers and obtain justified answers to their questions. Conclusion It can be concluded that the report emphasizes on the SWOT analysis of three events such as Christmas market, wedding event and academic conference in order to gain knowledge regarding the factors such as internal and external factors that influence the activities carried out in the event for the purpose of achievement of customer satisfaction. This also results in increasing the number of the visitors in the event in next year. Besides this, there is also a discussion of the planning of such events next year in a successful manner. It describes that the stakeholders are different for these three different events. It can also be concluded that for organizing an event in a successful manner, there is a need of selection of the best activities which are aligned to the planned budget.
